Every treatment at Brazilian Blowout Boston is performed by Franny Flynn, owner and sole specialist. Franny has focused exclusively on keratin and smoothing treatments since 2016, building on hands-on experience that started in 2009, with 10,000+ treatments performed. There is no larger team and no junior stylist standing in.

What is the difference between the three result levels?

Classic keeps natural body and movement with moderate curl reduction. Lighter keeps more volume with less curl reduction. Heavier gives the sleekest, flattest finish with the longest hold. We choose together during your consultation.

How is this different from a standalone keratin treatment?

Brazilian Blowout is a specific smoothing system; other keratin treatments use different formulas and processing methods. Franny will recommend whichever fits your hair and goals, not a one-size answer.

Will results look different depending on my hair type?

Yes. Fine hair tends to hold results longer; coarser or curlier hair may need a refresh sooner. Results are also cumulative, improving with each treatment.

What should I do to maintain results at home?

A sulfate-free shampoo is essential; sulfates strip the treatment faster. Franny will recommend the specific products that are actually safe for your results, not just anything labeled sulfate-free.

Do I need a treatment more than once?

Most clients rebook every 10 to 12 weeks as results fade with regular washing. Some stretch longer depending on hair type and how often they wash. Franny will give you a realistic timeline for your specific hair.

Can I combine this with a cut or color elsewhere?

Yes. We only perform smoothing treatments, so most clients keep their existing colorist or stylist for cuts and color and come to us specifically for smoothing. Just time color around the treatment as covered in your consultation.
