Brazilian Blowout Near Beacon Hill, Boston | Brazilian Blowout Boston
Brazilian Blowout Specialist Serving Beacon Hill Clients
Beacon Hill is a neighborhood that understands craftsmanship. The brick sidewalks, the gas lamps, the attention to detail in every brownstone. That same appreciation for quality is what brings Beacon Hill residents to my salon in Quincy. My name is Franny Flynn. I've been performing smoothing treatments since 2009 and have focused exclusively on Brazilian Blowout since 2016. My private salon at 147 Beach Street in Quincy is about 20 to 25 minutes from Beacon Hill, and Brazilian Blowout is the only treatment I offer.
With over 10,000 treatments completed, I've built something unusual in this industry: a practice centered entirely around one service. No cuts, no color, no distractions. Just Brazilian Blowouts, done with the kind of precision and care that Beacon Hill clients expect from the professionals they choose to work with.
Why Beacon Hill Residents Choose Brazilian Blowout Boston
Beacon Hill residents tend to be discerning. You research your options, you read reviews, and you look for people who take their craft seriously. I respect that, because it's exactly how I approach my work. I didn't become a Brazilian Blowout specialist by accident. I made a deliberate choice to narrow my focus and go deeper than anyone else in this space.
The practical benefit for you is straightforward: better results. When someone has done the same treatment over 10,000 times, they develop an intuition that can't be taught from a product manual. I can assess your hair in minutes and know exactly how it will respond. I know the right amount of product for your density, the right temperature for your texture, and the right technique for your specific goals.
There's also an educational component I think you'll appreciate. I take time during every consultation to explain what a Brazilian Blowout actually does. It's a smoothing treatment, not a straightening treatment. Those terms are often used interchangeably in the industry, but they mean different things. I'll show you what's realistic for your hair type so you can make an informed decision. No overselling, no vague promises.
What Makes Us Different
Exclusive Brazilian Blowout Practice
I stopped offering other salon services years ago. Every appointment in my chair is a Brazilian Blowout. This exclusive focus means I've developed techniques through sheer repetition that simply aren't possible when you're splitting your time across multiple services. For detailed information about the treatment, visit my Brazilian Blowout page.
One Client at a Time
My salon operates on a one-client-at-a-time model. There's no waiting area full of other clients. There's no assistant doing part of the work. When you book with me, the salon is yours. This privacy and focus is particularly valued by my Beacon Hill clientele, many of whom prefer a quieter, more personal salon experience.
Meticulous Ventilation
Professional-grade air filtration is built into my salon. Chemical smoothing treatments release byproducts during the heat-sealing phase, and proper ventilation removes them efficiently. I've made significant investments in this area because I work in this environment every day and because I want my clients breathing clean air throughout their appointment.
Consistent, Documentable Results
My before and after gallery is extensive and covers nearly every hair type and texture. I encourage prospective clients to look through it and find photos of hair similar to theirs. What you see is what you can expect. No photo editing, no cherry-picking the best outcomes.
Services & Pricing
Treatment is customized to each client. Your hair length, thickness, texture, and desired outcome all factor into the approach I take. I walk through everything during the consultation before any product touches your hair. Pricing and appointment length details are on my pricing page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly happens during the treatment?
After the consultation, I shampoo your hair to prepare the cuticle. Then I apply the Brazilian Blowout solution section by section. The product is processed, then sealed with a flat iron at a specific temperature calibrated to your hair type. Finally, I rinse, condition, and blow-dry. You walk out with finished hair that's immediately smooth, shiny, and frizz-free.
How long will the results last?
Ten to twelve weeks is typical. Using sulfate-free products at home is the most important factor in extending your results. I provide specific product recommendations at your appointment.
Will the treatment make my hair look fake or overly processed?
No. One of the things I love about Brazilian Blowout is that the results look natural. Your hair moves normally, has natural body, and doesn't have that plastered-down look that some older smoothing systems produced. It just looks like you have really great hair.
I have very fine Beacon Hill bob-length hair. Is this appropriate for me?
Fine hair responds wonderfully to Brazilian Blowout when the application is properly adjusted. I use less product and a lighter technique on fine hair to avoid any heaviness. The result is smooth, shiny hair with natural movement. Many of my fine-haired clients are among my most enthusiastic regulars.
Can I color my hair after the treatment?
I recommend coloring before your Brazilian Blowout, as the treatment helps lock in color. If you must color after, wait at least two weeks. Coordinate with your colorist and feel free to have them call me if they have questions.
Is there parking at your salon?
Yes. On-site parking is available at 147 Beach Street. No meters, no permit zones, no circling the block. It's one of the perks of coming to Quincy from Beacon Hill.
Do I need to arrive with my hair a certain way?
Clean and dry, with no heavy products applied that day. Skip the leave-in conditioner and oil treatments on appointment day. That's all you need to do.
What's the best time to schedule to avoid traffic?
Mid-morning and early afternoon appointments work best for avoiding both the morning rush and the evening commute. I-93 South is typically clear by 9:30 AM.
